Strasburg Mayor Says Town Doing Well in Spite of RecessionThe mayor of Strasburg recently gave his "State of the Town" presentation and NVdaily was there to capture all the details. The mayor and Town Manager Kevin Fauber reviewed the past year's economic changes, and said that overall the town is happy and doing well. They reviewed how the town was pursued money for a transportation enhancement project on King Street and a planning grand from the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development. "During his 'State of the Town' presentation Tuesday night, Mayor Tim Taylor said the town should continue to accept new ideas, but not sacrifice work on current projects. 'I'd rather do a few things well than a lot of things not so well,' he said. The town has a lot of projects going on, he said, and should make sure it does them right."
