Most of Strasburg to be sold at auction

Strasburg town sealLarge portions of Strasburg will be sold at auction on Thursday, as the estate of the late Leo M. Bernstein is offered by The Bernstein Foundation. The town of 6,200 people is promoted as "Virginia's Antiques Capital."

Properties offered include the Museum of the American Presidents and the Jeane Dixon museum, a 14-room historic estate that comes complete with a carriage house.

Seven different parcels, including an entire city block, can be sold separately or all at once. The minimum bids vary from $15,000 to $865,000.
