Chesapeake Airport noise harms home value; jury awards no damagesGeorge and Margaret Osipovs sued the Chesapeake Airport Authority in 2004, contending that traffic and noise from the airport caused a drop in the value of their home. Chesapeake Circuit Court Judge Randy Smith agreed, ruling in 2007 that the value of the Osipovs' property had been harmed. On Friday, a jury in the case awarded no damages.
